The GolfPod Instagram ads finally got the best of me and I have invested in a GolfPod tripod. I have an acre of woods off my back porch and I am looking forward to many more swings into my practice net. I thought my light up golf ball would make for a good shot tracer and you can see the ball kick hard left before getting too deep in the woods!

I’ve been searching for the perfect golf tripod and this is it. The magnet is good and strong and I don’t have to worry about my phone coming off easily. The build quality is good. It would be nice to have a tripod made of metal just to increase longevity. But all in all I love this tripod and will recommend to anyone that asks!

Although the shipping service let us both down by delivering the express shipment quite slowly, once I got the GolfPod, I couldn't wait to set it up. So I didn't read the manual, and just quickly figured it out.
The included remote control and the clever way it stores on the tripod base was way more useful than I had imagined. My swing coach is very happy that the videos I send are super high quality now, and it's already paying off!

I received my Golfpod this past week and began using it immediately. I got the one with the Magsafe magnet and I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max with the Magsafe case from the Apple Store. This setup seems ideal to me. The tripod works easily and now that I'm using it, I can't envision not having this setup when I go to the range. Here in Corpus Christi, the wind can often be 20mph or more, and this setup has worked fine so far in high wind -- I tend to keep the tripod set at waist height or maybe a little lower and video capture has been perfect for my needs. Very satisfied with the Golfpod!

Golfpod is such a convenient way to film my swing for feedback. I got the MagSafe version and it removes one of the biggest pain points of filming and reviewing. I no longer have to mess with clamps when attaching my phone to the tripod. It is compact and easy to set up, and while I do wish it felt a bit more sturdy, it certainly gets the job done.

I use to have to place my phone on the ground. With golf pod it is the way to go! It’s always in my bag. When at the range it’s so convenient and simple to set up!
